Release Stress + Strengthen The Mid and Lower back

This beautiful Saturday morning we go into the essence of Acu-Yoga, and use the body’s natural body weight with very gentle stretching to strategically place pressure on targeted areas of the body. 

We focus on the bodies' mid and lower back acupressure points. Through mindful deliberate movement we ease tension and stress; promote the bodies’ self-curative healing processes, strength, and flexibility; facilitate healing by working with and moving the body’s life force, or chi. 

We close with a brief mindfulness meditation setting an intention of gratitude for the day.

We offer these free events from our sacred hearts to yours. We are, of course, open to any LOVE donations. The more you give-are charitable in life, the more you get!

Hosts:

Erika Licon, Esq. has been teaching Mindfulness Meditation and Acu-Yoga for over 10 years, as well as serving as an employment law attorney and business consultant/coach. She spends her free time researching the overall health benefits of mindfulness, and is particularly interested in self-directed neuroplasticity and emotional intelligence. She teaches how to live a mindfulness lifestyle and develop our emotional intelligence in very practical ways, as well as understanding how this habituated re-patterning rewires our neuronal connections and correlating physiological responses. She is also an employment law attorney-consultant, who like many other attorneys involved in the Integrative Law Movement is advocating for a basic awareness of neuro-linguistics to better serve our clients.  

Miguel Buenaflor, BS, teaches mindfulness meditation and mindfulness acu-yoga. He has a knack for tuning into the body’s subtle energies, and using Balanced Movement to keep the body energetically aligned and tone. He has experience using Balanced Movement, acu-yoga, meditation, and energy healing to boost the immune system and heal physical injuries.
