This month we use Mindfulness Meditation to fine tune our communication skills. Communication is a broad area, so depending on group interest and feedback we'll expand this area into other topics for other months. For this month, we focus on: active and empathic listening as well as being a great and empathic communicator; critical life skills that can open up infinite possibilities.

Erika Licon, Esq. has been teaching Mindfulness Meditation and Acu-Yoga for over 10 years, as well as serving as an employment law attorney and business consultant/coach. She spends her free time researching the overall health benefits of mindfulness, and is particularly interested in self-directed neuroplasticity and emotional intelligence. She teaches how to live a mindfulness lifestyle and develop our emotional intelligence in very practical ways, as well as understanding how this habituated re-patterning rewires our neuronal connections and correlating physiological responses.
