Course Information: NOW'S THE TIME to prepare your books for year end and send them to your CPA. We'll go through our checklist of all of the things you need to do/look at in your QuickBooks file in order to get your books in order, locate errors, and prepare for a happier and less expensive tax season.
This FREE two hour QuickBooks workshop is geared toward small business owners and non profit directors who want to learn about closing their books for year-end with QuickBooks software.
We will discuss and/or demonstrate the following:
- Roles & Responsibilities of the Business Owner and CPA/Tax Accountant
- Accounting Methods - Cash versus Accrual
- Reports and Examples from QuickBooks
- Payroll Tasks at Year-End
- Special Journal Entries
- Reports for your CPA
- Closing Your Books
- Our host, Chris Schadow (an excellent small business & non-profit CPA) will be there to answer your tax related questions!
