Monthly Free Documentary Screening/Open Discussion Hosted by Free Your Mind Az

  • Nov 10, 2013 · 4:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Come join us for our monthly FREE documentary screening hosted by Free Your Mind Az. The feature for this evening will be "Somewhere In New Mexico Before The End Of Time".

In 2009, Dr. Guy McPherson, a tenured academic professor at The University of Arizona(UA), walked away from his well-paid position to a permaculture settlement in New Mexico as a formal protest against the "industrial empire" that is "destroying every aspect of the living planet that it can get its hands on."

"Ten years prior to my leaving the University of Arizona, I had edited a book on climate change.  During that process, I came to the conclusion that we may have triggered our own near-term extinction by climate change"

Is Guy McPherson (Dr. Doom) afflicted with a "personality disorder" as the University of Arizona implied?  But what if he's right?

This event will be held at a members residence, so the location will only be emailed to members who RSVP. Screening will begin at 4:00pm, followed by a discussion after the film.

Most of the members of these groups are already aware of some of the information communicated in these films. So, we need to begin making these meetups about outreach and waking up others to the reality of our present situation and how to change it for the betterment of all.  Please bring others.

See you there.
