Let me start by saying WE ARE SOME OF THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE WHO ATTEND MEETUP EVENTS!!! Yes, you will feel included, yes you will be encouraged to join into the conversations... Yes, you will be introduced around.... (now here are some specifics as to what this group is about)

 

There is a treasure trove of free and or very cheap events and cultural activities in the Chicagoland area that include but is not limited to: circus performances, concerts, lectures, art openings and other activities. 

We will post these events on the Bulletin Board, as well as attend some of them as a group. We will also let you know of FREE or Cheap stuff you can partake of -- through traditional shopping or online purchases.

 

I LOVE to go out and have fun... (but I like to do it as cheaply as possible!)  Hey nothing wrong with keeping the buxx in our pockets, right? Besides that, it gives us more opportunity to go out and have some more fun in a shorter time frame!

I welcome your suggestion as to fun FREE or CHEAP events, and am looking for active participation from our membership...

I always try to make sure everyone feels included at our events, introducing all of us to one another, as well as trying to remember from conversations the interests/hobbies each person has so I can also try hooking you up with other friends who have similar interests...

Members from the groups I organize are always encouraged to just jump right into the conversation; as well as inviting those who appear a tad shy to join in as well...
