To us, the bond between friends that ride together are thicker than others. We ride, we eat, we chill, and we ride some more. We love to find new canyons to twist through and enjoy the beautiful scenery at every stop. We will make trips to the race tracks to test and better our skills in a safer and legal environment, but we will also go on a chill cruise and have a BBQ. We want to be a group that's more than just some strangers riding together. We want to be among people that we love on and off the road. Furthermore, we love the freedom that comes with 2 wheel riding. We don't believe in regulating, BUT, we will make as much effort as possible to make a safe environment. We're not a bunch of crazy people. We welcome beginner riders to join and develop their skills with us. We may go fast through the canyons, but no one will be left behind. If you just read this and can't wait to ride with us, well COM'ON then!
Starting September, 2014, We will move forward with making FRU an even closer community by requiring monthly membership dues of $10. This will help us further evolve the group to not just people who ride together couple of times a week, be able to host bike nights with hot prize raffles, uniform T-shirts, decals, charity contributions, and huge yearly parties! We promise you exclusive members-only benefits throughout our community in which we ride. We are constantly in search of new group sponsors all over LA and on the internet.
So if you're asking, "Is it worth $10 a month to join this group when I can join others for free?" Well come around the group and find out for yourself before you pay. Guests are always welcome. Don't be shy, it's mutual. We want to make sure you're cool enough before accepting you into our family. Join the group for free, and if you don't feel like paying after a month, you're free to go! Keep in mind, your profile should let us know a little about you before we can approve your request to join a ride in the first place. Be sure to have a personal picture and answer the profile questions with a little effort.
We've been around for over a year now, but we're just getting started and we need people that can grow with us and evolve this ride that we all ride together called Free Riders United.
