As freelancers we have to manage ourselves our projects, our co-workers, and yes, even our clients. We find it difficult to grow and expand as the time devoted to managing these things increases. However we can be more productive, and make it easier to grow our businesses when both the tasks that need to be performed and roles we assign to ourselves and to others are defined in a way that actually reduces the need for management. We'll also discuss why you should start at the end, how to address both tasks (in relation to self-managing projects) and roles (in relation to self-managing organizations). We'll also explore how we sabotage ourselves because we've all learned to make our projects more difficult to manage.
