Introduction

I'm primarily a web developer who has been freelancing/running my own business since 1998. I love the opportunities that being on my own have presented and I also face the ongoing challenges that being a freelancer presents.

Are you currently a freelancer?

Although I have partnered with a graphic designer to open a boutique creative agency, I still consider myself at least partially, a freelancer. Cannot rely on the "boss" to tell you what to do; need to make the big decisions that affect your worklife; and have to find ways to develop new opportunities. These are common challenges faced by the person going solo for the first time as well.
