On July 27, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Santa Cruz Masonic Lodge. In each Meetup a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed, debated and related to the principles of Freemasonry.
In our modern buildings we still incorporate columns, even though steel struts and concrete hold the mainframe of most industrial or large structures. This discussion will explore the functional, aesthetic, and symbolic properties of columns and how these qualities relate to Freemasonry.
This group for men and women, which is open to the public, allows non-lodge members to learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Co-Masons.
