Basic Electricity and Electronics for Makers

This open class will generally repeat every month as an educational outreach of Freeside Atlanta when the classroom is available. Attendance is free. See the official policies of the space for additional details regarding materials, supplies, etc.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites. The intent of this class is to help the individual student learn to use electricity and electronics to make real projects. The limitless variations and possibilities make this an extremely flexible opportunity for makers. You can expect to learn bits of the science and the engineering that make our technology rich environment possible.

If you are a bit more advanced and have a kit project that is not working or not working the way you expected it to work, bring your device and the documentation and you may be able to pick up some tips or ideas to get your project back on track. Whatever stage your project is in, you may end up with just the thing you need to get back in the game.

This meetup will be hosted by Wayne Salhany. For information about Wayne, see his LinkedIn profile.

At the moment, Meetup reports 19 going. With this many attendees it may be difficult to give everyone personal attention but I will do my best. I look forward to meeting each of you.

There is a rather large step at the front door and no ramp, but at the rear the access is level. Please phone me at[masked] if you plan to attend so I can be sure you have access.
