Taught by new recruit Rob and veteran Freesider Eldon, this class will cover basics like installing Linux, dual-booting your computer, types of Linux systems available, etc...
Next, you'll learn about the console, writing scripts to automate Linux, navigating the file system, tricks to simplify operation, SSH and Xming, and lots more!
Required materials: your own laptop to hack around on and a USB flash drive. We'll have 4 computers available in the classroom for those of you without laptops.

Membership is not requires to attend these meetings or to take our classes. However, all guests will be required to sign liability waivers, which is standard practice for makerspaces.
