I very much enjoyed meeting the GT Humanists, and although I strongly believe in the work of FFRF, I think it would be fun to join humanist group also.

Impressed by the individuals - Glenn and I will be joining - even if we can only make a couple meetings a year it will be good. Sorry we had fewer of our 'own' northern FF group in attendance.

I NEED the social connections they discussed; it was interesting to see their growth and organization. Perhaps their lack of formal membership is the cost ? Meeting on Monday evenings ? Have FUN as a guest speaker. Nancy

What a great meeting. It was terrific to have five members of the Grand Traverse Humanists (GTH) with us, including their president Mark Elliot, and to hear about how they got started. As we look toward the future, there is a chance that we may be able to collaborate with GHT on some projects.

It was encouraging to learn of other freethinkers in the area. Hopefully, we can be as successful with expanding our membership.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
