I started to read this and totally discredited it when I got to the misspellings and bad grammar.  If you expect anyone to pay attention to you I suggest you turn on your spellcheck.

In regards to religion there is an EXTREMELY fine line between making people think and outright offending them. This ad is "in your face" and unless you are prepaired to run it non stop for years, will be totaly ineffective.

A much better approach would be for one of the local members to write an reasonable artical on why someone believes in god the way they do and how to apply logic to that belife system.

The problem with atheists is that they are always preaching to the choir, and when not in the choir always come into a room like an rhino.

If athiests want a following out side the pack, take a lession from the bible and use it to your advantage.  Become a wolf in sheeps clothing.  Dont wear your non belife in god on your sleeves.  No one needs to know you dont believe in a god.

Think about  the powerful advantage  you could have.  You would have total control a convesation if the person you were talking to, about religion,  had no idea you were atheist.

Boldly proclaming your an atheist with your head high is akin to starting a cock fight.  Talons straped with razors and ready for blood.  Your not going to win!

Just something to think about.

I can't wait to see if the ads generate feedback or bring in new members.  No matter what happens, the ads look great and certainly grab your attention.  Thanks Chris for the hard work and generous donation.  Tom

Below is a wonder email we received from our esteemed FANM Vice-President, Chris Wright. Read and enjoy! Ad examples at the bottom prove once again that Chris is a very talented person.

(Here's what the quarter-page ads will look like.)

Heathen's Greetings, my Reasonable Friends . . . I've had great conversations with Jan Staycer at Northern Express these past two days. Our first FANM ad will appear in the 'big' Holiday Issue of Northern Express next week (19th). I have reserved space for every week for the rest of the year (6 total). Attached is the artwork for each ad and consecutive runs. Top ad (Edison) will run first, each week followed by the consecutive pieces. Please note that I double-checked not only the quotes, but determination that photos/art of the quoter (that's not a word; I made it up) are in the public domain. I've also addressed the 'freethinking' issue of our group, and Jan stated implicitly that Northern Express will not have an issue regarding the 'topic' of our advertisements/messages, that they do not discriminate for any belief or non-belief, except certain circumstances (ads that might contain legally controversial material that might break the law such as nudity/profanity). So, we're ready to go! I will be working with Jan to pick out some particular issues in 2013 for our remaining 6 ads. Two final thoughts: I think we'll get some new members, but I wonder if we might get some 'competition,' meaning that there might be a church or two who might respond or rebut with their own 'message' in the NE. This would be fantastic! I'm hoping for this. I did not talk with Jan about NE doing a specific article about our group. This is something that I want to percolate over our next few conversations. Hope all is well back there. I forgot how bad DC/VA traffic is. Can't wait to return to my town with a single stop sign.
