Introduction

My name is Eva, I am a member of the Phoenix Atheists Meetup. My husband and I have two young children, and we would love to meet some other Freethinking families in the Valley!

How do you describe yourself? (eg: Atheist, Agnostic, Humanist, Skeptic)

Atheist

To be a member, you must have children living at home with you. How many children are in your family and what are their ages?

We have two children, a 5 year old daughter and 3.5 year old son.

In what part of the valley do you live and how far can your family drive to meet others in this group?

We live sort of --central/east. Near the Phoenix Zoo. We are happy to make it to most meetups in Central Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale and possibly Chandler and Mesa.

What types of activities does your family like to do together?

When the weather is nice, we love little kid- friendly hikes/nature walks (S. Mountain, Boyce, Papago), going to parks, the Zoo, Desert Garden, and local events. We also like the Children's Museum, and crafts.

Eva, Yes I am actually the organizer for FFV :) I proposed the idea to John a few months back and we got it started together. The Deutsch has been an ongoing project for me. I also took it in college and found it came very naturally to me. I've been doing a bit with my son to get it in his ear, but I am in no way proficient and would love to find a community of german speakers to expose all of us to the language better. Let me know if you have found any other resources in the Valley :)
