High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging is accessible to anyone with a digital camera of any kind, even a phone camera!
The HDR technique uses 3 or more differently-exposed images of the same subject. HDR imaging captures more detail in brighter highlights and in deeper shadows than is possible with a single image.
In this class we will capture an HDR image with our cameras (bring yours along!), and then process the image in our laptop computers (bring yours along!). I will provide software for you to install and demonstrate its use.
We will discuss the concept of BITS PER PIXEL. We will then look at images with 32 bits per pixel, 16 bits per pixel, and 8 bits per pixel. 8 bits per pixel is the internet standard for photos.
Please note: No-shows continue to be a PROBLEM. No-shows push SERIOUS attendees onto the waiting list, and prevent good folks from attending. The fee is to reduce/eliminate NO SHOWS. Thanks for your concern and consideration.
