Layers? In Lightroom? Really?

All:

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a popular photo management and editing program.  Editing tools in Lightroom are very similar to those found in Adobe Photoshop and many other editors. But, unlike Photoshop and other editors, Lightroom does not OFFICIALLY use image layers, a potentially helpful way to manage editing.

In this class we will re-introduce you to the "layers" metaphor and philosophy by showing you ways to use Lightroom tools in a layered fashion and keeping track of your edits.

Strongly recommended: bring a computer with Lightroom 5.5 installed.

There is no direct fee for this class, but you may wish to consider making a donation in the classroom. Donations help keep classes going.

Thanks,

Len

I can't make the new date for this class. Assuming the wait list won't clear in time, hopefully there can be another in the future. Thanks!

Sounds like a full house. Any possibility of space opening up for this class? Or another class scheduled for those of us on the wait list? Very interested.

I dont have any experience with lightroom- is this a good class for beginners?

Hi Nicole. Although this class is not particularly good for beginners I think even beginners might benefit. This material is a different way to use Lightroom Develop Module tools. It will get all users off to a good start, and give experienced users more expertise in tool use.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
