High Dynamic Range (HDR) images have become so popular that numerous cameras now incorporate an HDR setting. Just shoot a photo in the HDR setting and the camera builds it for you instantly!
Many photographers would like to take more control of the process, though. Photoshop has a built-in automation to create HDR images, HDR Pro. HDR Pro is relatively easy to use, but still operates outside the usual Photoshop workflow.
In this class we'll walk through a simplified HDR workflow in Photoshop using some tools that may be familiar to you already. You'll feel right at home!
If you aren't familiar with the workflow, wow, you're about to become a happier Photoshop user! You'll learn about the RAW image workflow.
We will then process an HDR image you must shoot prior to attending class.
This will be just one session, highly focused. Best to bring a laptop with files in it for creating HDR images. If you don't know yet how to create top-quality images for use in HDR processing, send me an email; I'll send you a primer!
You'll get more out of this session if you bring a laptop with Photoshop on it to the class. If you can't bring a computer you'll still be able to follow along on the screen in the classroom.
