Digital Imaging, through the Newark Adult School, gets you proficient with all your camera's capabilities. You'll really learn from the strong HANDS-ON emphasis in each of 5 weekly sessions, 7pm - 9pm Fridays.
Photo classes are now in a BIGGER SPACE. There’s a high ceiling with plenty of room for multiple sets and LOTS of simultaneous hands-on activities.
PARKING IS CLOSER NOW, just a few steps from the classroom. And the classes are still the best bargain in training in the Bay Area.
Topics include everything from "What are apertures and shutters?" to "What are some portrait lighting techniques?" The instruction STRONGLY emphasizes ways to practice your new skills with free or low-cost accessories and even lights you already have at home!
With hands-on practice in class and a weekly assignment, you'll make more use of more controls of your camera than you thought possible. Your pictures will improve and photography becomes more fun.
