LaSalle caught the dress rehearsal, Friday, and raved in part:



"Napoleon" is great in an entirely unique way, and the experience it provides - at times, akin to taking a drug - is unlike anything I've ever experienced in a movie theater. It's hard to imagine anyone reading this not wanting to have that experience, too.

There remain two more opportunities to see it: Saturday and Sunday. It starts at 1:30 p.m. and, with two breaks and a pause for dinner, the program doesn't end until 9:30 p.m. Seeing it requires giving one whole day to the watching of a movie. But it is certainly a day you will remember for the rest of your life.
