I am a strong beginning student of French, but losing my skills without anyone to speak it with. Would love to find friends to bumble through the language with and hopefully become more fluent.

Yes, Karen, please let me know where you're going on your next Tuesday hike. 36 people going to Ouzel Falls is just too big a crowd for me!
So I'm assuming you've already read the book for August? I ordered it several weeks ago online & it still hasn't come. I'm starting to think it's not going to get here in time for me to read it. I was wondering if you've already read it, if I could borrow it from you? I could just come some get it sometime this week? Let me know what you think, you can email me if that's easier: [masked] Thanks!!
Hi Karen! I was bummed I missed the last meeting, but I should be able to make it to the one on the 18th. I haven't read the book yet so I'm glad to know it's good! I'm glad you're liking Jodi Picoult's book, she is definitely my favorite author. See you in a couple weeks!
Oh awesome, what books did you order of hers? They're all good. If I remember correctly I wrote down "Summer's Child" by Diane Chamberlain which is about a lady finding an abandoned baby. And "Stolen Innocence" is about polygamy, at least the book I read was..it was by Elissa Wall. Hope this helps, and thanks for passing on that info to John.
Hi Karen, I enjoyed meeting you and visiting with you! I saw that on here it says "meetups so far" and if you click on that, there's a list of all the books the group's read so far. Just an FYI : )
