What's the best or worst job you've ever had? How'd that go? What'd you learn from that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Just how good or bad was it? What did you learn from that?

Please respect your fellow story tellers and the audience by adhering to the format and the time limits. See previous events for more details about the format, it is just briefly summarized here.

Format review!

1. This is a TRUE story that *happened to you*.
Your story has a BEGINNING and an ENDING.
Maybe you learned a lesson. Or you changed.
Or your worldview changed.
Tell us what happened to you, and make sure we know what the point of your story is.
Why do you want to tell us this story?

2. No Notes allowed.

3. Another comment about Time limits.

To help you not run over time - a visual timer and audio cue at 10 mins will be provided. We just want to be fair. Sometimes at events the number of tellers seems to perfectly fit the time window, sometimes not. Get your name in the hat at the beginning of the event to have your best chance at getting to tell :)

Our awesome audience gives the storytellers a warm and supportive environment for sharing, and our storytellers support the audience by adhering to format and respecting time limits.

We have reached the point where occasionally, not everyone who brings a story gets to tell it. but our themes are broad. If you don't get to tell your story one month - you can tweak it to fit the theme of another month.

Advice to enhance the probability you'll get to tell your story:
- come early - make sure your name is in the hat at the beginning of the event.

We are officially registered as a MothUP group with the Moth.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for FUTURE EVENTS
