**OUR WINTER 2015 SESSION IS FILLED -- IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING, PLEASE EMAIL ME OR REQUEST TO JOIN AND I'LL GET BACK TO YOU ASAP WITH INFO ABOUT THE SPRING SESSION. THANKS!**

We are a small-group writing workshop geared toward the experienced writer. If you have an MFA and/or have been published and/or have taken numerous workshops at the Advanced or Master level and are devoted and committed to a regular writing practice, producing work at a steady pace, this workshop could be you.

We focus on the craft of fiction, where language, sentences and character drive stories -- more so than plot. Our members are working on novels, memoirs and short stories.

Our workshops are structured in the following way: We begin by talking about the positive aspects of a piece of prose and then move into questions. The writer remains in a "cone of silence" during this phase and then at the end is released to ask questions and discuss comments.

We discuss two manuscripts per session, giving each piece ample time for feedback. The workshop typically has between 6 and 8 people who commit to participating for a set number of weeks (typically 8 to 10). We meet once per week in the Cambridge area near Fresh Pond and Alewife T.

If you're interested, please write back and tell us a little bit about yourself, your writing and your writing goals.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
