The Gypsy, on NW 21st (where parking is still free), has happy hour pricing until 8pm daily.
As part of their happy hour, they have $2 wells, $2.50 domestic drafts, and $3.50 craft drafts, along with a number of food specials. Here is a link to the happy hour prices: http://www.cegportland.com/pdfs/menus/Gypsy_HH_Sept2012.pdf?1351282543
A good buddy of mine once told me every guy should have a go to karaoke song (and that applies to girls as well). And, for those of you who don't know, the Gypsy is one of the better known karaoke bars in town. On Fridays, they usually start karaoke at 9pm. But, since our group is coming in, they are starting karaoke at 8pm for anyone who would like to stay and sing/watch.
Should be a fun time!
Standard FAHHSP event info:
We tend to choose venues that facilitate standing and mingling rather than sitting and only talking to a few people at a time. Please try to stand up if you want to meet others. If you are shy, come find me or one of our organizers and say hi so we can introduce you around and try to alleviate your shyness.
While our events technically start at 4:30-5:00ish, we recognize that not everyone can duck out of work early on Fridays. Do not stress about punctuality. People trickle in from 5:00 on, and we generally hit maximum capacity at around 5:30.
