    • Baz S.

      Hi Alix,
Thanks for the great list. All of those songs bring back great memories for me. I will do my best to slot them all in, some will be during the warm up set and some will feature in the main set. As with all the playlists submitted by Fever members, your list is valued and appreciated and you still have a week to go so feel free to add on any last minute ones that come to mind. It’s great to have you on board and do come and say hi once you arrive so I know you won’t miss any of the gems you selected....

      1 · March 28

    • Alix

Thanks for your messages Michelle and Baz. Michelle - Dressing up can be fun. If you have a theme and are playing good tunes I'll do my best to "fit" what's asked. The only problem is I don't fancy getting on the tube "in character"..... but I'm brave and can do it :-) Baz - Thanks for making the effort to play the tunes from my list. I'll be sure to say hello when I arrive.

      1 · March 28

  • Baz S.

Ok, looking for more inspired song requests. Things that will get you moving and shaking...... Remember where you heard it first? .....at one of your school discos or on the radio listening to DLT (Radio 1 breakfast), Tony Blackburn, David’Ram Jam’ Rodigan, Tony Williams (soul spectrum) or indeed the great Robbie Vincent

We definitely gotta have a little bit of Cameo! Ooh I am so looking forward to it and I struggled to think of who you might have left out of your lists except Simply Red (Holding Back the Years), En Vogue (Hold on to Your Love), Family Stand (Ghetto Heaven) and Althea and Donna (Uptown Top Ranking). If I think of any more I will let you know either way, it's dancing shoes and hit the floor time.

    4 · March 24

    • Baz S.

Like it Linda....esp Uptown Top Ranking...now that was a TOTP performance i remember!!!!!!!

      March 24

  • Baz S.

Hi all, I’m looking for your requests, so come on, speak to me. Let me know what great memorable blasts for the past you wanna get down to again.... whether it is a comfy early doors warm up choon or a floor filling old school banger, drop it in the message board for me to see or go to our collaborative spotify list using this link..
http://open.spotify.com/user/1172971720/playlist/1eLHxny0fA7Azg0KS2bDDX. The kind of sounds that remind me of my school discos, are songs by the great Luther Vandross, Soul || Soul, Bobby Brown, Cameo, Aretha, A-ha, Madonna, Soft Cell, Madness, Maxi Priest, Gregory Isaacs, Janet Kay, Inner City, Full Force....oh I could go on for so long but what I really want to know is what you want to boogie, pogo or grind to.... whether it reminds you of the cage at carnival, the early days of Glastonbury or a TOTP classic performance or video, let me know!!!!!
