Brrr! It's colder outside now, and so time for "Friendly Native New Yorker Walking Tours" meetup to go on hiatus until Spring 2014--after all, walking tours aren't much fun when you're shivering in your shoes on the sidewalk! We'll be back in late April 2014 with some brand-new tours as well as the returning great tours. If you're new to the site, sign up anyway so you'll get notified as soon as we're back in action for the new season. In the meantime, you can enjoy my other group, Great Places in Gotham, for plenty of warmer, indoor activities! Here's the link for that: http://www.meetup.com/The-Great-Places-in-Gotham-Meetup/
Below is our usual end of April - end of October description:
Tired of going to the usual event at a bar and finding yourself with nothing to say--because there's nothing in particular to talk about at just a plain old bar??
Then come on a "Friendly Native New Yorker" Walking Tour!
See the city, learn some fun local history, and meet some new people, all at the same time.
Add a little urban adventure to your weekend by coming along with us.
