The more I study New York history, the more heroes (and anti-heroes) I get. Short list would include PT Barnum, Henry Ward Beecher, TR, and the arch villain of the early republic, Aaron Burr. Golly, he pops up no matter what I research!
The one place that remains a mystery to me is the Bronx. Forget space, Captain Kirk; THAT's the final frontier!
I've lived in New York City all my life: born, educated, and worked in either Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan. Wouldn't trade it for a wilderness of monkeys.
There's no better way to experience New York City than to walk it. And to walk it in good company is my idea of heaven.
Everyone who's come on a tour is very friendly! Whether the big draw for you personally is history, architecture, or just storytelling about New York's history, you'll have a lot of fun.
