MotoGP rookie Marc Marquez conquers the Corkscrew and takes Laguna Seca for back to back wins. We are all pretty happy to see living legend Valentino Rossi make a good showing. He held off a determined Alvaro Bautista in the closing laps to earn his third podium in a row. MotoGp is always very cool place to hang: Babes, Bands, cold Bevys, and Bikes. What more can you ask for! The ride in and getting out is always an adventure. We split traffic from Monterey all the way to Gilroy for the ride home. (sort of Hollister like, but faster). Thanks everyone, that was fun.

If anyone still needs tickets, they still have some left at Advanced Cycle Services in San Jose. Sunday tickets are $60. You can add a Paddock Pass for $25 more. http://advcycles.com/

Hi, this will be my first time there as well. How does parking work? Is anyone going to park at the free parking? And if most people are going to the paid parking, how do i pay for it in advance?

Looks like a great weather for race weekend. Current standings are: Marquez and Pedrosa with Team Honda 1 and 2. Will Marc Marquez conquer the Corkscrew? He's been there before but first time in MotoGP. The real question of the weekend is: Will Jorge Lorenzo race this weekend? Suffering a double broken left collarbone injury, he was suppose to rest and come back before Indy. A lot of people think he will race. Lorenzo currently sitting 3rd in the standings doesn't want to lose anymore points. It is going to be a fun race weekend!

Only a little over a week away for MotoGp. The only deals I have found for General Tickets for Sunday July 21st is at Cycle Gear and the Moto Shop in SSF. They are $10 off regular price. Hurry, get your tickets soon, some Cycle Gear stores are sold out for Sunday the 21st. Call first.

If you never been to the GP. There is paved parking for a price. Check their website if still available. They tend to sell out. Most of us park free in the hillside in the dirt. Bring a flat piece of wood to rest your kickstand on. Bring lots of bottle water, all you can carry in your backpacks, unless you want to pay $4-5 for water. Ear plugs is a good idea. They do sell them there if you forget.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
