Spectators are welcome with paid park admission.
We've been invited by the Suburban Singles Solution group to help make a difference in our community by participating with them in the "Foodie 5K" fun run/walk to benefit Northern Illinois Food Bank. In addition to the run/walk, the event will feature a post-run festival with music provided by 93.9 MyFM, delicious food from local food trucks, a kids' zone with fun fitness activities provided by My Gym Wheaton, and the opportunity to meet Ozzie from the Kane County Cougars.
Entrance to the Park is FREE with Race registration.
Each participant is responsible for his/her own registration.

Participants registered by March 1 will receive a 2014 Foodie 5K moisture-wicking, long-sleeve T-shirt.
All registered participants receive a $2 voucher to be redeemed at any participating food truck and a ticket voucher for any 2014 Kane County Cougars home game.

Friday, April 11 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Packet pick-up at participating Athletico locations or Northern Illinois Food Bank.
Saturday, April 12 8:00 a.m.: Parking Opens
8:00-8:40 a.m.: Packet pick-up
9:00 a.m.: Race Starts
9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Post-race festival with awards, entertainment, food trucks, a kids' zone and vendor booths.
The location of your registration packet pick-up must be determined upon registration. We encourage you to pick up your packet prior to race day.

Parking and Facilities:
Ample free parking for race participants and volunteers is available close to the Visitors Center so participants can leave gear in their car. Awards Ceremony Awards will be presented to the top male and female overall finishers in each age group.
1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Participating Food Trucks:
All registered runners will receive a $2 voucher for a food truck tasting of your choice.
BabyCakes, Cupcakes for Courage, Kona Ice, Toasty Cheese
Bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, and pets will not be allowed on the course. Baby strollers and wheelchairs must start after and remain behind runners for the entire race. The Foodie 5K is rain or shine; please dress appropriately. Please feel free to enjoy the Cantigny grounds after the event.
The Foodie 5k is a chip-timed fun run/walk.
Online fundraising prior to the race is encouraged by all runners!
$1 donated equals $8 worth of groceries to a family in need.
