Bourgogne (or in English, Burgundy) is one of the premier wine regions of the world. Known for outstanding Chablis and Chardonnay for whites and Pinot Noir for reds, this region produces fine quality wines and has done so for many, many centuries...going way back to as early as the 14th century!
For this tasting, participants each bring a bottle of wine from this French region. (Suggested retail $15-$50). This semi-private event will be held in someone's home and so the address will be sent later to those who are confirmed to attend.
Due to limited space, this event will be open only to the first 8 RSVP's. As such, we ask that you please be considerate of our friends and sign up only if you know for sure you will attend, just so that the slot won't be closed to someone else who would've liked to join. Merci!
As part of this tasting, we will also learn a few "dégustation" or wine tasting lingo en français as well as other tasting notes, bien sûr !
À Santé ! As they say in France for "Cheers"!
