Hyland Lake Park Reserve - Training Hike for Survey of Snowbank Lake

This hike at the Hyland Lake Park Reserve is a training hike for the Survey of Snowbank Lake trip and is open to all interested in hiking in general. The purpose of this hike is to get in shape and test our gear and work out final details for the May 17 - 19 Snowbank Lake trail survey trip. We will be hiking approximately 2-3 hours with our daypacks on, so come ready to hike in the boots and clothes you'll be taking on the trip with you. This will also a great time to meet your crew, discuss gear and share trail tips. What to bring: your backpack, boots and clothes you'd be wearing on the trail, stove and water filter if you have one, water bottles, snacks, compass, whistle, gloves. Optionally bring map of the Hyland Lake Park Reserve, your tent, sleeping bag, mattress. Link to Park information Link to Park map
