Get off the couch, and get into shape hike (The Sequel)

Whether you are getting ready to backpack the Pow Wow, BRT, Sioux Hustler or Kek this fall you can find out whether you can still cut it on an "Extended Training Hike" (TM) this weekend.  We plan to hike 10 miles with infrequent breaks (about 4 hours).  Come ready with your Lance Armstrong doped Stingray wafers, organic sugar gels and energy packs -'cause Murphy has up and down hills to put your body to work.  Guaranteed to loose 1,000 calories on this trek or - you can come back and do it all over again.  I plan to bring a 35# pack, at least 2 quarts of water, snacks etc. just like for a real trip up north.  Discomfort rating: 3.5 out of 5 (for city)
