Tamarack Nature Center Hike

Tamarack Nature Center has several miles of interwoven loops, two ponds, oak and poplar woods, prairie.   Visitors can sport deer, wild turkeys and even owls on occassion.  We will embark on 4-5 mile hike (about 2 hours) through gently rolling hills.  Your backpack, should you bring one, should weigh less than 60 pounds (that's dry weight).  On a serious side, bring snacks, quart of water and extra layer to keep warm during breaks.   Hot topic:  Upcoming adventures in snowcamping!

Martin, Would love to join you but what about dead falls and bind weed? Just wouldn't be any fun! Actually a bit far from Duluth.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
