Hike or Snowshoe?

Another prep hike for those who like to stay in shape.   We will hike for 2.5 -3.5 hours at 2-3 miles per hour clip.  Not murderous, but not for the meek.  If there is snow, bring snowshoes - pace of miles per hour may be slightly lower.  Other gear: clothing for the elements, extra fleece or Thinsulate (TM) jacket, no Primaloft please, 1 qt water, consider small thermos with cocoa or hot jello, snacks high in energy (peanut M&M's, chocolate, dry fruit, adequate protection for extremities.  This park has number of short hills which makes it very good for training hikes.  Small print:  Please turn off your cell during the hike, and this hike is tobacco and pet free.

Hope they have Europe-type trail markers like this so we don't perish...

Great hike with nine enthusiasts. Over three hours hill and dale with a wonderful crew. Look forward to seeing you all soon. Martin, thanks for the pics. I don't think I can get myself back to "15" the way you got us there, but I can live with that. Thank you!
