Enjoy the Minnesota cold weather while it lasts! Join us for a two hour cross-country snowshoe hike and prepare for the next snowcamping adventure in great white north. Bring the biggest snowshoes you have, snow is deep. Ski poles for added balance and to exercise your arms. Along with that 1 Qt of water with electrolytes, few snacks, packet of cocoa, cup and a spoon. Extra down or fleece jacket for the stops. A light or a 30 pound training pack or anything in between is optional. We will provide the basics of snowcamping tips along the way. Think of it as reading a page of Backpacker magazine in the outdoors - and in two hours you will become an expert on winter survival.
