I'm involved in trail maintenance on the Border Route Trail
I'm impressed by Martin's tenacity and his ability to do what it takes to convince the powers that be to cooperate. Without his abilities and perseverance there are a variety of trails which would otherwise have been lost. We all need to be thankful and supportive of the efforts of the volunteer crews of the Friends of BWCA Trails, the Border Route Trail Association, and the Kekekabic Trail Club for their work in keeping our BWCA Wilderness trails open and available to the public. I hope to see you out on one of our trails this coming season either hiking or better yet on a trail maintenance trip.
Thanks Ed, I look forward to helping out anyway that I can, if you need any GIS Mapping, I'm your guy.
I need to pay for this. Can I write you a check for $150.00. Where do I mail the check? Joe Toth
As much as I know you want this snow gone, I bet you're pretty frustrated about the snowstorm coming this weekend. Lol It's all good though. If we didn't have winter, Minnesota would be a completely different place.
I am going to arriving back to Mpls. on the 5th. of april and would love to get some practice time in on the 6th. do you think I could catch a ride with you to St. Paul?
Give me a ring when you get the chance and hopefully we can arrange something.
Thanks and I look forward to catching up!
Ed Solstad, Hi, I'm Kim Ode, a feature writer for the Star Tribune working on a story about not-so-familiar great places for a fall hike in the Twin Cities - the less-beaten paths, so to speak. I was hoping your group could make a few recommendations. Possible? Please contact [masked] asap. Thanks for your consideration!
