Wandering Wednesday

Come wander with me... you never know where I'm going to go.  This is a great way to get some exercise and relax after working hard all day.  The outing lasts about 2 hours.

If the weather is severe (heavy rains, thundershowers, nor'easter, etc.) I will not hike.  Check your emails before you make the trip to Grafton just in case something unexpected comes up.

Use your own judgement as to whether you want to drive to Grafton if the weather is iffy.

Check the location for parking for each outing... we will be parking at other areas too.

Bring a flashlight or headlamp...as we will be walking the trails in the dark.

water and snacks

rain gear, for light showers

proper hiking footwear, plus some type of traction device (microspikes, stabilicers) for when the trails start to get icy.

camera and binoculars, if you have them

Directions from Albany/Troy area: take Route 2 East toward Clums Corners and Grafton or Route 7 East to Route 278 to Route 2.

Take the Winter Entrance (at the Grafton General Store take a left)... stay on North Long Pond Road for about 1/4 mile... the parking area will be on your right... if you start to drive around the pond you have gone too far!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me at[masked] or send me an email.

Look for my Black Jeep Liberty!!  Hope to see you there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
