Friends Having Fun in Northern Virginia

If you are interested in some adult social activities and friendships this is the group for you.

There are plenty of meetup groups in our area but I doubt you'll find one this diverse (maybe). This group is for couples, singles, divorced, males and females.

It is not a singles group but we may have some meetups for women only, some for men only, and co-ed meetups. Most will probably be co-ed but that is up to all of us! I have a husband so many of my meetups will be co-ed but I also have some active female friends in the area.

We are into ziplining, motorcycle rides, bike weeks, bar crawls, wineries, breweries, brewfests, casinos, karaoke, cooking classes, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, movie nights, happy hours, festivals, carnivals, sporting events, sports bars, bowling, charity fundraisers, miniature golf, geocaching, laser tag, go-karting and indoor motorcycle racing, kayaking, white water rafting, canoeing, overnight trips, day trips ... you name it and we can do it. The only limitation is your imagination.

This meetup will not be as successful if only one person comes up with all the ideas for meetups. Plus, it would be nice to have someone take the reigns on organizing something fun once in a while. So, EVERYONE is encouraged to post ideas for meetups. If you post an idea for a meetup, be prepared to organize it. If you want help organizing it, for whatever reason, just ask.

All you need to do to join this group is to realize that life is messy and things don't always go as planned. You will need to be flexible and go-with-the-flow type of person; with a good and positive attitude.

A lot of energy can go into organizing events, so if you're a habitual no-show, you do run the risk of being kicked out. All we ask is that you keep your RSVP HONEST. It's nothing more frustrating to wait for someone who said they were coming, only to have them not even call/text that they can't make it afterall. Say what you mean and do what you say.
