Excellent ride tonight! 24+ miles on the fire roads. We made the right call as even some fire road sections were soft. Using a cyclocross bike tonight I found it to be extra fun. Fire roads become fun if you go faster. If you didn't come out because we were gravel grinding you should reconsider next time. It was fun.

We are going to call this weeks ride a gravel grinder. Trail gnomes are reporting back very wet conditions.

For next week the ride will be on Wednesday night. Let's hope for dry conditions.

Pump up those tires a little higher than usual. Same start time and same amount of fun!

I'll be bringing my cross bike for some gravel riding.

If you plan to ride, be ready to roll by 6:15pm, not arriving at 6:15pm...thanks.

Some corrections! Hitting send to quickly

If we get no more rain and plenty of sunshine we should be good. However forecast is not being kind.

What do people think about a gravel grinder?

If it's a gravel grinder, I'm out. If the singletrack is rideable, I'm in.

Gravel route suggestion is head towards the south end of the park. Ride the loop south of Beach Rd. Loop back to the roads north of Beach and get in a loop. Offers opportunity to drop off riders wanting to head out early.
