Orange Trail Hike with Merritt Rhoad

Distance about 4 miles along Forbidden Drive to Bells Mill Road.  We hike along the Orange & White trails to the Indian statue with return to Northwestern Avenue along Forbidden Drive at a conversational pace. Learn a little bit of Wissahickon history, geology, and stewardship.  Moderate difficulty. Duration 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Is this hike still on? I've received other emails recently that show scheduled activities and this is not listed.

Would this be appropriate for a beginning hiker?

Yes, some of the trails are steep and a bit rocky, but nothing too difficult. You won't go off trail at all.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
