Autumn Pleasure and Tranquility with Bruce Wagner

We will walk downstream from Valley Green Inn along Forbidden Drive and cross over the creek at Mt. Airy Bridge to follow the Orange Trail back upstream, returning to Valley Green across the Fingerspan Bridge and Cresheim Creek. This hike includes hilly trails with sometimes rough, wet and slippery surfaces. Distance for this walk is about 3.5 miles and will take about 2 hours. Children, accompanied by a responsible adult, are welcome. Heavy rain or snow cancels. For more information contact [masked].

Registration is recommended for all hikes so that you can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified Trail Ambassador hikes may use rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Long pants are recommended for protection against occasional poison ivy and possible ticks. Bring water and a snack if desired. Unless otherwise noted, children over 7 are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions.

What's the best way to get there from W. Mt. Airy? The Valley Green Inn says to come in from the west, Forbidden Dr.
    Map shows Valley Green Dr.
Haven't been there in years. What's up?
