Friends of the World Food Program Committee of Atlanta Volunteer Meeting
- Get involved and make a difference!
Join the Friends of the World Food Program (FWFP)* Committee of Atlanta in the fight against global hunger. More than 1 Billion people worldwide suffer from chronic hunger. An estimated 25,000 die every day from hunger, and 14,000 of them are children. Hunger is a disease that is curable with a little compassion, love and money. With more than enough food on this planet to feed every man, woman and child, Friends of the World Food Program hopes we can work together to support the positive work of the World Food Program (WFP) in its mission to combat world hunger.
Get involved! Volunteer today for the Friends of the World Food Program by attending FWFP Committee of Atlanta meetings on the first Saturday of each month. Location and time may vary, but typically we meet at Starbucks on 14th Street at 4pm EST.
