Tempest is often referred to as “The hardest driving Celtic folk rock band in America”. Tempest has headlined at Chicago’s Celtic Festival, Denmark’s Skagen Festival, Britain's Cropredy Festival, The Washington State Scottish Highland Gathering and the Winnipeg Folk Festival in Canada to name a few. San Francisco bay area based Tempest makes one North American tour per year and this year their Chicago area stop is at the Ballydoyle Irish pub in Downers Grove, IL. Ballydoyle is also a wonderful place to enjoy dinner, with 5 different versions of the Irish favorite “Boxty”, Harp Battered Fish and Chips, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Beef and Guinness Stew, Corned Beef Bites, Bangers and Mash, and Shepherds Pie to name but a few choices on their bill of Fare.
