Jazz Consortium Big Band at Durty Nellie's in Palatine

Lots of great music at our October Meetup in Durty Nellie's!

The irresistible sound of soaring trumpets, robust trombones, wailing saxophones and swinging rhythm section…the sound of the Jazz Consortium Big Band. The Jazz Consortium Big Band is a swinging, rocking, roaring 17-piece Chicago big band that celebrates the best Swing and Jazz-Rock big band music.

@Carol - yes it was a sad day when WNUA went off the air. I particularly enjoyed Ramsey Lewis' morning show. Fortunately I have my "Jazziz" magazine CD's of the month to help ease the loss.

A great evening of entertainment for the prior show that I attended. Jim's got a winner here.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
