Why did you join Friends First Social Group?

I like the philosophy that you have described. It takes time for me to be comfortable with new people. I hope these types of gatherings give me the time and social space to make new friends comfortably. :-)

What is your status? Chose One: Single-never married, Seperated/Divorcing, Single-Divorced, Widowed, Commited Couple, Married

How would you describe your personality type? Choose from: FUN, Extrovert, Never Met A Stranger, Somewhere In The Middle, Quiet, Shy, Introvert, Laid Back, Wild and Crazy.

I am socially competent but a little shy. I tend to talk too much when nervous.

So what do you think that your biggest personality asset is?

I am very objective, empathetic. The former makes me a good employee. The latter makes me a good listener.

What do you enjoy doing the most in life ? Hobbies? Work? Tell us!

I am an IT project manager. I enjoyed work because I like the sense of accomplishment it gives me. As I near retirement, I find that I would rather participate in more social activities but I don't know where to start. I'm hoping that this group will give me that opportunity.

Hi. I am a workaholic trying to break out of that mold. Hope to find friends to do things with closer to work and home.

What Pat J. is saying about this Meetup Group

I really enjoyed it! Fena made sure I was introduced to everyone (Thanks Fena) and Bob was nice enough to do the honors (Thanks Bob!). Considering how uncomfortable I usually feel (walking in alone to such a large group of strangers), I was surprised at how quickly I felt comfortable with the group. I look forward to the next get together.
