We will reconvene for this project in September.
We will be wire wrapping this month. Creating a frame and "sewing" beads to it to create an interesting pendant. An example of what can be done is here. I will try to add other examples before we meet. This tear drop or a circle are the easiest forms, but others may be chosen such as tree and star or heart forms, even a cross.
16 gauge round wire
24 gauge wire to "Sew" with
An assortment of beads to sew onto the frame. (from the example you can see that I used metal, crystal, and turquoise beads in many sizes and shapes, so let your imagination be your guide)
Tools: Members must bring their own tools, please remember to label them as so many look alike.
Round, and chain-nose pliers
Flat and Nylon-nose pliers are nice but optional.
Ruler, painter's tape and fine Sharpie
A bead mat is also helpful to keep everything in place
NOTE: We have changed our meeting date to the 3rd Saturday each month at 1PM since we have some members who work on Saturday morning. It will be 1 to 4 PM. We looked at several possible projects.
Great group, great fun! Join Us Soon.......
