(If using silver, make sure it's sterling or fine silver.  Each bracelet will require approx. 8 1/2 - 9 inches)

If you haven't soldered before, this is a fun project to learn with.

Gracious host and very nice meet up. I learnt so much about jewelry making from all who attended. One of the best meetups that I have attended.

    Charlotte,

I'm on the waitlist. Will you be able to squeeze me in for this? I've been wanting to take a class on bangles.

Great Mary, thanks for letting us know. I usually order mine from Rio Grande. Orders usually arrive in 2 days.
I just got back from Home Depot, so I could check to see if they have 12 gage - they do, and they don't.
For "bare" copper (wire without plastic coating), the thinnest they have is 8 gage - which will make a really pretty bangle, but I'm afraid to put it into the "wave" mold. However, it can be textured and looks great!
If you're willing to do the work, they do have 12 gage with plastic coating - $0.28 per foot. Ask for "12 THHN solid bare". I've never removed the coating, but I've heard a potato peeler works.
    Hope this helps.

Charlotte, do you know of anyplace local to get 12g copper wire? Is that it at Home Depot and lowes? Like grounding wire?
