Figuring Out Front-End Driven Apps, a guide to making web apps

  • April 29, 2014 · 7:00 PM

This month Nick Hehr (@hipsterbrown) will be giving an awesome talk on front end driven web apps:

Front-End Driven / Static Web Apps are the quite the new hotness for front-end developers today. They allow you to quickly prototype and test your ideas as soon as possible without creating an entire backend each time. I will be demoing three different services/technologies to help you get started and learn more about creating awesome Front-End Driven Applications.

I want to help you find the IZEA office. Our address is 480 North Orlando Avenue, Suite #200. Winter Park, FL 32789. Your map app may or may not point to our front door correctly. For reference, the red arrow is where our front door is: http://i.imgur.com/mX3w106.jpg Google maps link: https://www.google.com/maps/place/480+N+Orlando+.... Our front door is just past the restaurant Brio, which you should see on the left corner at the stop sign after entering Winter Park Village. This is what it looks like street view: http://imgur.com/LssN2Qt If you get here and the door is shut, just ring the doorbell (here's what the door bell looks like: http://i.imgur.com/llg60QQ.jpg) outside and someone will come down to let you in.

If you can't find IZEA or can't get in the building, shoot me an email at [masked]. I'll do my best to walk you through it. See you Tuesday!

Is it possible someone who knows CSS/HTML really well could spend some time going thorugh a few questions that I can't grasp yet? I'll be wearing a yellow shirt that says Turning Technologies. It would benefit any developer trying to master CSS/HTML to answer these questions!

There should be time at the end for open questions and discussion.
