Dr. Rosenthal has revised the subjects in regard to his presentation to us next week on Wed, Sept 21st. He's decided to slightly alter the discussion to cover how ADHD is handled in Bali, Indonesia, as he thinks the way they handle it is a model for how it is generally handled in most developing countries. He has mentioned this in previous presentations but only as a sidelight.
He will ALSO be talking about the comorbidity of ADHD and Substance Abuse as well as ADHD and anxiety/depression.
As some of you know, ADHD and Substance Abuse is one of my favorite subjects and a topic that MANY ADD/ADHDers shy away from because they don't consider themselves abusers of anything. Of course, "owning up to it" is half of the battle, isn't it? I'm VERY interested to hear what Dr. Rosenthal has to say about it!
Those of you who haven't RSVP'd for the meeting, PLEASE DO SO NOW. [THIS INCLUDES REGULARS WHO "FORGET"!!]
There are plenty of seats available still but with the added subjects, I think they will disappear rather quickly!! Here is the link to sign up for the presentation:
If all of the seats fill up, don't despair: give me a call and I'll see if we can get another seat into the room.....unless you don't mind leaning against a wall or sitting on the floor!
See you all next Wednesday!
All my best!
