I just wanted to let you know that Meetup.com tends to send out automatic mailers announcing meeting dates. If this happens for December 24 and 31, please disregard them, since we won't be having meetings on those dates.
Our next meeting will be on January 7th at the usual time, 7pm. I will send out an announcement about a week before as a reminder.
I have been sending out announcements for our speaker, Dr. David Rosenthal, who will speak to us in January. The previous date for this has been January 14th but Dr. Rosenthal has had to change the date to January 21st, due to a circumstance that will have on the West Coast from the 14th-18th. So, please mark your calendars for JANUARY 21ST instead![/b]
I would like to ask everyone who plans on attending to send in presentation topics for Dr. Rosenthal to address. The most popular will be chosen for him to talk about. However, he also plans on allowing folks to ask whatever they need or want to address, as well. Please get those suggestions to me as soon as possible so I can decide what to ask him to talk about. THANKS!
Have an excellent Holiday Season and see you in the New Year!
Everyone experiences a variety of difficulties with ADD/ADHD. We can learn from each other to develop more fulfilling lives by helping with issues like implementing structure, organization, time management and social skills. Sharing our personal experiences are important tools for those with ADHD/ADD. Our frequent gatherings (weekly) will include useful topics to help lead more productive lives in a friendly group environment. Occasionally, we have Guest Speakers, who present a wealth of information; one such presentation can be seen on an outside website at any time.
This Meetup is always a structured group with open discussions on topics chosen by members from week to week with time enough for both personal issues and questions of any type.
Meetings are held in the Denver Metro area, every other Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. And even though the meeting begins at 7 sharp, members are encouraged to come, despite being late due to work schedules or other personal commitments. So please join us in a supportive atmosphere for all of your ADD/ADHD needs!
