I'm sorry but the meeting next Wednesday, April 21st, has been canceled and moved to the following Wednesday, April 28th.
Reasons for this include the fact that I have been scheduled to work the night of the 21st, Lori will be out of town on a much-deserved vacation, and Karli is usually busy with work on Wednesdays.
I know some of you may find this upsetting, especially having to wait for another week for a meeting, but I have no other choice. Consider it a time to reflect on these questions, which we will discuss at the meeting on April 28th:
1 - At the beginning of the year, many of us (who were present in the group at that time) stated a resolution that we wanted to tackle for this year regarding our ADD/ADHD. Have you put into effect ways to resolve or inspire your commitment to your resolution? 2 -With that question in mind [and a very difficult one to ask]: if you haven't done anything to initiate a change, why haven't you? Do you feel that you "can't" do it without help from another person or do you simply have trouble "beginning"?
So, see you on Wednesday APRIL 28th for our next meeting!
Everyone experiences a variety of difficulties with ADD/ADHD. We can learn from each other to develop more fulfilling lives by helping with issues like implementing structure, organization, time management and social skills. Sharing our personal experiences are important tools for those with ADHD/ADD. Our frequent gatherings (weekly) will include useful topics to help lead more productive lives in a friendly group environment. Occasionally, we have Guest Speakers, who present a wealth of information; one such presentation can be seen on an outside website at any time.
This Meetup is always a structured group with open discussions on topics chosen by members from week to week with time enough for both personal issues and questions of any type.
Meetings are held in the Denver Metro area, every other Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. And even though the meeting begins at 7 sharp, members are encouraged to come, despite being late due to work schedules or other personal commitments. So please join us in a supportive atmosphere for all of your ADD/ADHD needs!
